Amitabh Bachchan thanked the government, Information & Broadcasting ministry and the jury members of the National Film Awards for naming him the Dadasaheb Phalke Award recipient. The actor was accompanied by Jaya Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan at the ceremony.
